Two Viennese institutions join forces
Together with the Spanish Riding School, we are opening a new chapter in Viennese history – a melange of indulgence, elegance, and tradition. To mark the beginning of this collaboration, we present our legendary Guglhupf in a limited edition, dedicated to the 460-year history of the Riding School.
A special highlight: our lovingly designed Guglhupf Premium Box – illustrated by Chiara Perano – a poetic homage to the world of the Lipizzaner horses and the Viennese coffeehouse culture. Among those attending the launch were Mayor Michael Ludwig, Cathedral Priest Toni Faber, Julius Meinl CEO Christina Meinl, as well as hosts Alfred Hudler and Berndt Querfeld, who together ceremonially cut the Guglhupf.
Carrot breakfast for the Lipizzaners
A particularly charming aspect of our cooperation is the so-called “Carrot Breakfast.” From now on, once a month, we will be inviting the Lipizzaner horses of the Spanish Riding School to enjoy a fresh carrot breakfast. After all, if breakfast in a coffeehouse is a tradition, then our four-legged Viennese originals should be part of it too ;)
