Since the opening of Café Landtmann, we have been committed to serving not only exceptional coffee but also our own handcrafted cakes and pastries. This passion for quality led to the creation of Landtmann’s Original Manufaktur in Alterlaa – the heart of our family business. It supplies our cafés and restaurants daily with freshly baked Guglhupf, cakes and pastries, crafted with the same dedication to taste and tradition.

The “Café Landtmann” Book

For over 150 years, Viennese people and international guests has been visiting Café Landtmann – from early morning newspaper readers to theatre-visitors ending the evening with a glass of wine and a Wiener Schnitzel.

Richly illustrated and filled with captivating stories, this book offers a glimpse into the history, atmosphere and unique character of one of Vienna’s most iconic coffeehouses. It celebrates the people, traditions and everyday moments that have shaped Café Landtmann over the decades.
