In March 2009, a "little" Café Landtmann opened in the Japanese capital of Tokyo. The basic concept and the "Landtmann" brand was taken on as part of a franchise agreement. The earnestness and professionalism of our Japanese colleagues won us over completely. Today we are linked with Giraud Restaurant Systems, now our longstanding partner and operator of the Landtmann Tokyo – a wonderful partnership. Regular and reciprocal visits for the purpose of exchanging knowledge and experience ensure that we continue to meet high quality standards, and, not least, that a lovely, intercultural friendship has flourished between Vienna and Tokyo.
